Future Concepts is a Global Marketing Consultancy and Export Management Company (GMC). We help clients build and maintain an international presence in Europe, the Pacific Rim, the Middle East and Latin America.

Future Concepts has enjoyed successful operations since its founding in 1985, and is one of Silicon Valley’s most experienced GMCs. Our services provide international expertise in establishing and managing clients’ international marketing, sales and distribution operations. We provide the most efficient and cost-effective method of entry into the highly competitive international marketplace, and help our clients manage and grow existing international operations. We also help clients develop long-term global strategic plans.

Additionally, Future Concepts acts as a representative for overseas companies wishing to have a local presence in Silicon Valley. We handle liaison functions and coordinate their U.S. operations. Future Concepts helps “Bridge the Gap” between you, the client, and your market place and customers.

About the Founder

Sami AsfourFuture Concepts was founded by Sami Asfour in 1985. Mr. Asfour holds undergraduate degrees in electronics and management and a master’s degree in international business. He has over twenty-eight years of experience in international operations, mostly in high-tech industries. His experience ranges from field service operations to international marketing, business development, sales and distribution. Mr. Asfour spent close to seven years at Apple Computer (now Apple) in its early days, where he established worldwide service operations. Later, as the first Far East Area Manager, he set-up and managed Apple’s sales, marketing and distribution operations in that region.

Mr. Asfour also spent over five years in providing turnkey pre-mastering solutions for the production of DVD content, to all the major postproduction houses around the world, and helped launch the deployment of Video-on-Demand and broadband video distribution at major Telcos and the Hospitality Industry in Europe, Asia, Latin America and the U.S.

Mr. Asfour has traveled extensively around the world (94 countries at last count); developed and taught courses in International Business at De Anza College in Cupertino and Menlo College in Atherton California. He is the principal founder of the International Business Forum (IBF). IBF is a Silicon Valley non-profit organization dedicated to providing ongoing education and insight to its members on “doing business in a global market environment”. Mr. Asfour is also a Charter Member of the Willow Glen Lions Club in San Jose, CA and is involved in a number of charitable out-reach programs.
